The Silky Star: July 2009

You may wonder where I was. It's such a long time since the latest post was on...... Busy? Yes.... but not much works get done... Lazy?? no.... I spend most of my time in front of the computer! (When I said "Most of My Time", I really mean it!!!

I'm so obsessed with colors! I've just found a new playground that I just can't stop playing with it.... Colors have its their own magic and it strong shows your personality out to the world. I feel like I understand myself more when I'm dealing with palettes & patterns. I think there's limitless ways to express your feeling through combining those colors in million different ways.

The truth that I found from this experience is no work's get done!!! :-) No.. I mean it's simply like how we live our life. Life is all about decision making, we do that all the time from when to sleep, what to speak, turn right or turn left... All those decisions always made impact to myself or some people in a way. Just like when I slide the bar to find a perfect match for palettes or patterns that I'm concentrate on, a little bit too much, a little bit too little would cause the look of the whole... However, if I try to seek for perfection, I always end up wasting my time with a single piece of work , which I will never be satisfied.

Our life works the same way, you don't need to seek for perfection in everything you do. Because there's other decision to make for all of your life. I watch out for disaster but we can do better when we are not under self stressed. If we think we are the real center of our own world, then we are missing the point of living as a human. It will make us forget about other particles around us and just try to make the best thing happens to ourselves but not for the society as a big picture.

Some color alone looks ugly, some would look as a plain one. But magic of the natural always find a way to let them live together nicely. We can't be happy if we select only beautiful colors for our palettes and never share some spaces for the different thought. If you are the only one who is happy with an incident, it's more likely that you have spoiled some particles around you when we step back to see the big picture.

It's a good lesson learned for myself.. We should believe in everything.. nothing is possible, no weak piece that we should get rid of this world completely.. It's just not the time for it to shine and paint the society nicely.

You don't have to be an artist to try and learn about this truth. Just try it, at first you would think you always make the right decisions but for a while, when the uncommon things are happened. Most of us stuck, instead of trying to do your best and overcome the obstacle. I are always wasting time for finding the perfect solution and then we will be hesitated to make decision because it would make us feel less perfect. The decision has no right or wrong, if it blends nicely with the palettes, why in the world should we care how each one looks and keep complaining about how bad it is.

The rule of life is easy. Happy with the now, accept the fault decision with delighted that we will not do the same mistake again. Stop complaining and move on to another decision that we have to make... One thing to care is when you looking back to see your whole life, you must be comfortable with the whole picture, not some chunks of it. May be this is the reason why the mother nature created the diversity. So it will get along and makes the the whole picture beautiful, same as our lives...
